Welcome to the Krogsgaard Lab!
The goal of the Krogsgaard laboratory is to understand the molecular and cellular interplay of T-cell receptor and its cognate antigen in health and disease states. This is of particular importance in the field of cancer immunology and the development of immunotherapy related toxicity. By appreciating signals transmitted through the TCR, we may begin to direct pharmacological investigation in new and innovative ways. We aim to manipulate the sensitivity of the T cell receptor to antigens found on cancer cells or ‘self’ antigens to balance tumoricidal capacity without collateral damage to healthy tissues. In addition to our structural program, we use animal models and human samples to recapitulate disease states.
